Set on Exeter’s historic quayside, our microbrewery is all about brewing sessionable, characterful beers you’ll want to come back to. You’ll find our taproom and brewery tucked between the River Exe and the Exeter Canal Basin. We brew a wide range of styles throughout the year — from rich milkshake stouts and juicy IPAs to classic hefeweizens and crisp, refreshing lagers. Come and see us at the Topsham Brewery taproom on Exeter Quayside. Pull up a seat, try our latest brews and enjoy the buzz of the brewery around you. On warm evenings, our quayside beer garden is the perfect spot to catch the last of the sun. When it’s cooler, the taproom’s a cosy place to settle in. However you visit, it’s a great setting to relax, chat with friends and share a couple of cold pints.
Portal pizza started in April 2021 as a lockdown idea that has now become a must-go in the city of Exeter for incredible food. Serving up Neapolitan inspired pizzas for the hungry patrons of the taproom, the truck is open seven days a week with openings at evenings during the week and all day on weekends.
Upstairs, our venue space is home to all sorts of brilliant events — live music, performances, workshops, dance classes, yoga sessions and plenty more. You can find a full list of what’s coming up right here.
The space itself sits above the brewery and taproom and is also available for private hire. If you’re looking for a unique setting for your own event, it’s a great spot to make it happen.
